If you’re a fan of DC Animation, a familiar face could be coming to live-action. According to our friends at The Geeks WorldWide, Terra, aka Tara Markov, will be appearing in the upcoming Swamp Thing before transitioning over to the second season of Titans for a multi-episode arc. The character is set to be portrayed by Sarah Bennani.
Bennani’s previous credit include uncredited roles in Ant-Man and The Wasp, Happy Death Day 2U, and the recently released Shazam!. Later this year, the up-and-coming actress will appear as Lola in Elizabeth Banks’ reboot of Charlie’s Angels.

Created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, Tara Markov first appeared in New Teen Titans #26 in 1982. The character has appeared as both a heroine and at times an antagonist for the Teen Titans. Terra plays a crucial role in “The Judas Contract” storyline when she infiltrates the Titans with the help of Slade Wilson. An animated adaptation of the “The Judas Contract” released in 2017, with Christina Ricci voicing Terra.

The show stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne, and Esai Morales as Slade Wilson.
