‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Will Officially Be Titled ‘The Rise Of Skywalker’

During the Star Wars: Episode 9 panel at Star Wars Celebration, director J.J. Abrams revealed the first look at the highly-anticipated final installment in the Skywalker Saga. If that wasn’t enough, the subtitle of the movie was confirmed to be The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters December 19, 2019.
The film stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher.
