Henry Gayden Will Return To Scribe ‘Shazam!’ Sequel

Shazam! is finally in theaters and fans are loving it. The script was penned by Henry Gayden, who we now know will return to write the sequel for the film.
Shazam! is a wonderful experience for anyone who loves movies. The script is full of wit and well placed humor, but most importantly, heart! The Wrap has confirmed that Gayden is returning, but was also told that David F. Sanberg and Peter Safran are also expected to come back for the Shazam! sequel.
Gayden is working alongside the famous Lord and Miller combo on a Last Human adaptation, which is based around three robots in an A.I. society find a human baby. The film is based on the book of the same name which will be released this year by Lee Bacon.
Shazam! has outdone its expected opening weekend gross, bringing in $56.8 million domestically, and $102.3 million internationally. This is DC’s first film since Aquaman which brought in over $1 billion internationally!
