‘Titans’ Season 2 Adds Chella Man As Deathstroke’s Son Jericho

The second season of Titans is set to be a family affair. According to Deadline, the DC Universe series has cast Chella Man as Joseph Wilson, better known as Jericho.
Man is a model and student at New York University, who has a considerable YouTube following. He uses his platform to discuss topics such as gender, identity, race, and disability. Late last year, Man made headlines as he became the first Deaf, transgender model to be signed with the modeling agency IMG.

A character breakdown revealed earlier this year by The GWW explained that Titans was searching a male of Asian or Latino descent, age 21-42, who was hard of hearing or deaf actor to portray Jericho. Man is slightly younger, being only 20, but fits the rest of the description to a T.
Here is the character description for Jericho from the producers of Titans: “Son of the infamous DC villain Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), Joseph Wilson is the Titan known as Jericho. Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. This gentle-natured yet proud hero has proven himself a formidable Titan.”
