Miranda Richardson Joins ‘Game Of Thrones’ Prequel Series

Sadly, Game of Thrones is coming to an end after its eighth season. However, varies prequel series’ are in development and one is shaping up to be the first one to premiere.

The Long Night, which is the rumored title, has started casting for their production and a few familiar faces have joined the cast; Naomi Watts and Jamie Campbell Bower will be leading the series.
Today, TV Line reported that Miranda Richardson (Harry Potter, Sleepy Hallow, The Crying Game) has joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
The series is said to be set a thousand years before the events of Game of Thrones and will go deeper into it’s world of fantasy and action.
The official log-line for the series reads, “the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.”
No word on a release date but the show is set to begin filming this summer.
