Hans Zimmer Set To Score Denis Villeneuve’s ‘Dune’

Over the last couple of months, Dune has been slowly growing their crew, while top names in Hollywood have been gravitating towards the project. Warner Bros. put out a press release that confirmed the cast, as well as legendary composer Hans Zimmer who will score the film.
There was a previous version of Dune, which came out in 1984. The film stars Kyle MacLachlan and Virginia Madden And was directed by David Lynch. It is currently sitting at a 6.6 on IMDb and a 54% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The official synopsis for the film was also released.
A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, “Dune” tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.
Dune will film on location in Budapest, Hungary, and Jordan and hit theaters November 20, 2020.
