Catherine Keener Joins Cast Of ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

Warner Bros. has added another name to the ensemble cast of Joker: Folie à Deux. According to Deadline, Oscar nominee Catherine Keener has landed a major role in the film.
The film is set to see the return of Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, with Todd Phillips also returning to direct and co-write the script with Scott Silver. Joining them is Lady Gaga, who will star opposite Phoenix’s Fleck. The film will reportedly feature musical elements and is believed to take place in Arkham Asylum, where the first film left off.

It is currently unknown who Keener will play in the film. She will appear alongside Brendan Gleeson, who recently joined the cast. Additionally, Zazie Beetz is also set to reprise her role from the first film.
Keener recently appeared in The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, and Walker Scobell. She also appeared in the television mini-series Brand New Cherry Flavor as well as the film No Future.
