Leaked Live-Action ‘One Piece’ Set Photos Offer First Look At Garp’s Ship

Set photos from Netflix’s live-action One Piece series have offered a look at another iconic ship from the series. Leaked images have revealed the first look at Garp’s Marine ship.

The ship looks features some striking similarities to the version in the manga and anime, including the dog and collar on the front. It is uncertain if it will be a perfect recreation as the ship is still being constructed in these images.
It is also interesting to see Garp may appear in the show as he is featured more prominently later in the series. This could suggest the live-action version will take some liberties with the story.
First published in 1997, One Piece is written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda. The series is still in print today and has spawned a massive media franchise, including an anime series that first aired in 1999, a number of films, and several video games. In 2021 One Piece became the best-selling manga series in history, with 490 million copies in circulation.
The series is set to star Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu Arata as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibbs as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. With production currently underway, it has not been announced when the show will debut on Netflix.
