‘Loki’ To Reportedly Set Up Kang The Conquerer In The MCU

It appears that one of Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series may introduce the MCU’s next big bad. According to Daniel Richtman, Loki will set up Kang the Conquerer.
Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is set to take the God of Mischief on a journey throughout time and space, which may bring him into conflict with the Time Variance Authority. This seems like an ideal situation to set up Kang, given he is a time traveler and was, at one point, a member of the organization.
Created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in 1963, Kang the Conquerer was first introduced in Fantastic Four #19. Nathaniel Richards was a 31st-century scholar who traveled back in time to ancient Egypt, where he became the Pharoh Rama-Tut only to be defeated by a time-displaced Fantastic Four. The villain then went throughout time, amassing an arsenal of advanced weaponry that he has used to conquer the future. Kang soon set his sites on the past, a path that has led him into conflict with the heroes of the present.

Many alternate versions of Kang have appeared in the comics, including Iron Lad, an adolescent version of himself. In an attempt to escape his evil destiny, Iron Lad traveled back in time, forming the Young Avengers.
Given Marvel is setting up both the Young Avengers and the Time Variance Authority in the MCU, it makes sense they are tackling Kang the Conquerer as a potential new Big Bad. As of now, the specifics of how Kang will be introduced has not been revealed, but it is exciting to see the next villain of the MCU is in the works.
