Fans have been eager to get a look at Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character in the upcoming fourth season of The Boys ever since it was announced he joined the cast. Now thanks to a new image from the set, fans have their wish.

It has not yet been confirmed who Morgan will portray in the upcoming season, but a number of fan theories have surfaced since his casting. Some have hoped he will be a Supe, but based on the image from the set, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

As can be seen in the image above, Morgan is on set with Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher. Urban appears to be in costume, so it stands to reason Morgan is also. Based on this, it seems unlikely Morgan will be portraying a Supe in The Boys, so he will likely be working with Butcher and the team.

Season 3 left The Boys in an interesting position as Starlight has officially joined the team, and Butcher is slowly dying. Additionally, Ryan has been taken in by Homelander and has already started to corrupt the young Supe. It will be interesting to see how all of this comes to a head in the upcoming season, so fans will want to stay tuned for updates from the set.
