Star Wars: The Acolyte has remained one of Lucasfilm’s most anticipated Disney+ series since it was first announced. Much of the project still remains under wraps, but according to a new report, it seems actress Amandla Stenberg is in talks to star in the project.

The Illuminerdi has reported that Stenberg is in advanced talks for the lead role in the series. Star Wars: The Acolyte is set to focus on the rise of The Dark Side during the final days of the High Republic era, so it seems likely her character will be a Sith apprentice. Much of the series and the lead character remains a mystery, so any news regarding the project is exciting.
