Obi-Wan Kenobi To Reportedly Have Recurring Role In ‘Andor’

Production for the long waited Obi-Wan Kenobi series begins later this March. But it appears the fan-favorite Jedi may be making his return to the Star Wars universe sooner in a different Disney+ series, Andor.
According to The Illuminerdi, former Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, played by Ewan McGregor, will have a recurring role in Andor. The production for Andor is currently ongoing and will wrap up in July.
Toby Haynes stepped in to direct the Andor series after Tony Gilroy stepped down as director due to the pandemic. Gilroy is best known for his role in the rewrites and reshoots of Rogue One. The series stars Diego Luna in the titular role of Cassian Andor, with Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller making up the supporting cast. Genevieve O’Reilly will be reprising her role as Mon Mothma after first appearing in Rogue One.
