‘Batwoman’ Set Photos Reveal First Look At The Batmobile

With The CW’s Batwoman currently in the process of filming its second season, eagle-eyed onlookers have started to capture a number of images from the set, including the first look at the new Batmobile.

While previous reports claimed Javicia Leslie’s Batwoman was seen driving the iconic car on set, this image is the first look at the vehicle. Check it out below:

As can be seen in the image above, the show has gone for a more minimalistic approach to the vehicle as it appears to be just a normal car with a few added details, including the Bat logo on the hood.

Season 2 of Batwoman will see Leslie become the first woman of color to portray the iconic character in live-action. Leslie takes the role over from star Ruby Rose, who departed the series earlier this year. Like many other series, production on the first season of Batwoman was halted early due to the coronavirus pandemic. The show had a planned 22-episode season, but Episode 20 served as its season finale.

Batwoman will return in January 2021.

  1. Too bad batwoman doesn’t have batmobile this show is trash

  2. Also, minimalistic just means they didn’t want to spend the money to do it right.

  3. That’s so lazy, just took a corvette and put a weird spoiler on it 🤦🏾‍♂️

  4. I am disgusted by The CW’s inability to stay within the mythology of the groundbreaking DC Comic…Shame on them; and, this trainwreck of a season they’re about to unleash on Season One’s fans!

  5. Is this a Chevy Corvette or a Nissan 370Z with a body kit? C’mon, man. I understand this is a show on a budget, but if I wanted to see modded street cars, I’d go to the downtown strip on a Saturday night. Instead of modding a Z or Corvette, (on a budget) I would’ve gone for a stripped down 60s/70s muscle/sports car (maybe a rare & forgotten European or Japanese auto), added a tasteful bodykit (black, maybe a splash of red or purple here and there), and some extra power under the hood. The idea of the Batmobile was to have a car unlike any other on the road. Every other street you go down, you see a Corvette or a Z. If they wanted to use a Corvette or Z, they could’ve gone for their more classic variants instead.
