Hawkeye

Trickshot & The Tracksuit Mafia Will Reportedly Appear In ‘Hawkeye’

The future of Marvel’s Hawkeye has been in question lately after it was rumored the series was delayed. Thankfully, that was denied by Disney, and it seems fans may have some more good news. According to MCU Cosmic, the show will introduce both Trickshot and the Tracksuit Mafia.

Created by Roy Thomas and Gene Colan, Barney Barton, aka Trickshot, was first introduced in 1969’s Avengers #64 as the older brother of Clint Barton. Barney took a different path than Hawkeye and joined the army, ultimately becoming an FBI agent. He eventually went on to join the Dark Avengers and since then has served as an anti-hero.

Meanwhile, the Tracksuit Mafia first appeared in Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye #1. Dubbed by Clint as the Tracksuit Draculas, the group is a criminal organization that worked in New York City. They served as antagonists for much of Fraction’s run and will most likely serve as secondary villains on the Disney+ series.
