First Look At Lashana Lynch As 007 In ‘No Time To Die’ Revealed

It’s time to meet the next 007. Lashana Lynch becomes the ultimate special agent in new set photos from the 25th James Bond installment, No Time To Die.

Thanks to the Daily Mail (via Anton Volkov), we have high quality images straight from film’s production, which is currently taking place in Italy. Included is the first look at Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch, who plays an agent who is set to replace Daniel Craig’s James Bond as the new 007.

Beyond the fact she’s not wearing a typical suit, it’s evident her character has chosen a practical route in terms of her gear. It’s not only tactical but does make her look like a complete badass that will do the 007 code name justice. Time will tell if that it that is indeed the case.

Cary Fukunaga will be the directing the 25th installment of the Bond franchise. Rami Malek is making his introduction as the mysterious villain. Returning are Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Lea Seydoux. Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, and Billy Magnussen are among the newcomers to the franchise.

Honestly, the costume makes her look more like 006, Alec, from Goldeneye. But, hey, I’m down to see this.

  Ok don’t know really I think it’s gonna flop badly ..James Bond is an always has been based on English character an it works well with English character ..is this chick English or American ..ok Daniel Craig was awesome ,pierce Brosnan was awesome,Roger Moore ,was awesome ,an the greatest of all Sean Connery …to have a woman play 007 is weird …I mean they were looking at picking Chris Hemsworth for fuck sake before they chose Daniel Craig ..an Daniel Craig was a good choice ..I don’t think it’s gonna work sorry I loved James Bond growing up an the fact that the guy who invented James Bond had intentionally made it so it was always gonna be a male English character ..not American not Australian,..it’s MI6 for fuck sake not FBI OR CIA ………MI6 English..ENGLAND,UNITED KINGDOM

I’m NOT even remotely impressed. 007 should remain the iconic figure who we’ve come to admire. While I appreciate the film makers attempt at “changing up” the basics this is not a Bond film I plan to see!

Ruining canonical characters and plot structures in the name of diversity has become a very pretentious and unpleasant “marketing strategy” in the industry these days. Make a new show for whatever you think is your target audience, don’t mess with our childhood!
