Actress Portraying Blackfire In ‘Titans’ Season 2 Potentially Revealed

Anna Diop’s Starfire will have her hands full during the second season of Titans. Canadian actress Oluniké Adeliyi may have revealed that she will portray Koriand’r’s sister Blackfire in the DC Universe series.
Yesterday, Adeliyi posted the recently-released Titans Season 2 poster on her Instagram with the caption “Coming Soon!!! So excited and blessed to be apart of this awesome show #Titans #Titanstvseries #dcuniverse #livingthedream.” In the comments of the post, fans speculated that the 42-year-old actress could be playing Blackfire, which Adeliyi seemingly confirmed by liking several comments that posed the idea.
Adeliyi is best known for her role in the 2010 horror film Saw 3D. Her other credits include the Canadian police drama Flashpoint, A Christmas Horror Story, and Starz’s The Girlfriend Experience. Later this year, Adeliyi will appear alongside Felicity Huffman in the black comedy Tammy’s Always Dying, which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
In the pages of DC Comics, Blackfire, aka Komand’r, is the eldest of the Tamaran Royal Family. She was the first princess born in over 100 years and the rightful heir to the throne. When Komand’r was a child, an illness struck her which took away her inability to harness the same powers as her younger siblings. She would grow resentful of Starfire, leading to altercations between the sisters.
