‘Doctor Strange In The Mutiverse Of Madness’ Officially Announced for May 2021

It was officially announced at the 2019 San Diego Comic Con that the sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange is official titled Doctor Strange in the Multivese of Madness.
The man behind the camera for the first mystical journey, Scott Derrickson, will be back to direct. After taking the stage to discuss the film and reveal the logo, Derrickson exclaimed “this will be Marvel’s first scary movie!”
Additionally, it was confirmed that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch was set appear in the sequel. Her series, WandaVision, set to debut on Disney+, will directly tie-in with the film.

The combination of Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch will be one to keep an eye on. The film is set to take place following the events of Avengers: Endgame, so the two extremely powerful sorcerers will find their way in the world after such cataclysmic events.
It is unknown where’re Chiwetel Ejiofer’s Baron Mordo will return to the sequel, but the tease of his villainous ways may point in the affirmative direction.
