‘The Batman’ To Begin Production At The End Of The Year

The long-awaited take on Batman by Matt Reeves will begin production at the end of this year, according to the Planet of the Apes director himself via Twitter.
Looking like sometime around year’s end.

The Batman has yet to cast its leading man, but Reeves has expressed his vision of a younger actor for the role of Bruce Wayne, most likely able to continue the franchise in the long run. Nothing has yet to be confirmed by Warner Brothers, however, the production timeline seems to be in logical accordance with the recently confirmed release date of June 2021. Under the presumption that this vigilante story is not a CGI-heavy project, production at the end of the year or the beginning of 2020 seems to be the best course of action in order to meet the slated 2021 summer release date.
Despite numerous rumors floating around the internet, we have yet to see a definitive shortlist of actors that have caught the studio’s eye. Of course, this has resulted in endless fancastings all around, the fandom on the hunt for the perfect young Batman.
