In 2017, a group of strangers, including myself, was brought together to help launch a website for a notable Twitter page. In the two years since those strangers have become a tight-knit family, one that I don’t think any of us would trade for the world.
When the time came to move on from our previous outlet, the future of our group was left uncertain. That was until we decided to go off on our own and start a new venture, which we’ve decided to call Full Circle. The plan was simple, create a brand that could encompass everything we as a group wanted to create. Whether that be covering news, reviewing the latest releases or podcasting, we wanted a place where our creative minds could operate to their fullest potential.
If you’ve followed the work we’ve done previously, you’ll know that our main focus was entertainment news, specifically blockbuster movie news. That was always the root of our work and while fun, it always felt limiting in a way. That’s something we kept in mind when starting this page, placing limitations on your content can be helpful at times, but also frustrating at others. So with all that in mind, we decided to expand our focus in a few different ways. Let’s start with the website itself.
FullCircleCinema.com will serve as the hub of our brand. The site itself will function as an entertainment news website, where you will find the latest news, reviews, editorials, and even the occasional scoop. This type of content was always our bread and butter and is something I know we can continue to expand on. However, what we cover will be slightly different. While still putting a focus on blockbuster movies, which we all adore, we will also look to cover more diverse entertainment including indie, streaming, and foreign films, as well as TV.
Now let’s talk expansion. In recent years, podcasting has become of the quickest growing forms of media in the world. That’s something we plan to take full advantage of using our new platform as we start the Full Circle Podcast Network. There you will find a range of shows covering topics such as movies, TV, sports, video games, and more. To accompany the podcasts, we plan to launch multiple video series on our Youtube channel.
So you may be thinking, what sets this page apart from any other on the internet? I’ll tell you what makes us different: the team. You won’t find a more diverse, passionate or intelligent group of content creators anywhere and it’s my genuine privilege to be leading them into this next phase. I was nervous about beginning a new project from scratch but with the support of this group, I know we can make this into something special.
