During Jump Festa 2023, it was confirmed that not only is season 2 of Spy x Family in the works, but an original movie is also being developed. Now a special trailer for both releases has been revealed, confirming they will premiere in 2023.
The special trailer can be seen below and features animated stills from the manga highlighting the adventures yet to come for the Forgers. Additionally, the trailer highlights the 2023 release for both projects.

The second season of Spy x Family will seemingly pick up where the anime left off in the manga with the Great Cruise Adventure arc. Meanwhile, the movie will feature an original story by series creator Tatsuya Endo who will supervise the film alongside creating original character designs for the project.
Spy x Family is animated by WIT Studio and CloverWorks and described as so,
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!
