‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ Merch Teases Spider-Punk

Sony Animation’s Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is set to feature a number of alternate Spider-Men. Thanks to recently surfaced merchandise for the film, it has been revealed that one of those Spider-Men will be Spider-Punk.

Created by Dan Slott and Olivier Coipel, Spider-Punk debuted in 2015’s The Amazing Spider-Man #10. Spider-Punk, aka Hobie Brown, is the Spider-Man of Earth-138. He was a homeless teenager transformed by an irradiated spider due to toxic waste dumping by President Norman Osborn. He led a group of New Yorkers against Osborn and ultimately defeated him. Afterward, he was recruited by Superior Spider-Man to join an army of Spider-Men.
