Filming on The CW’s newest DC series, Superman & Lois is officially underway. So with the stars now on set, images have begun to surface, revealing the first look at Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman in his new suit.

Most of The CW’s DC series feature its stars suiting up in updated versions of their costumes each season, and it seems Superman & Lois will follow that pattern. Now that Hoechlin’s Superman is in the spotlight, it seems he will don a new suit. At first glance, it appears the suit has ditched some of the yellow highlights of the previous suit. Now it features a more simple red and blue look.

Previously Superman’s costume featured yellow highlights around the belt and cape, but these are no longer visible. The suit looks to be a nice change for the character. Hopefully, The CW will release a clearer look at the suit with an official photoset soon.

The series will premiere on February 23, 2021, on The CW.

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alexander Garfin, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette, Dylan Walsh, and Wolé Parks.
