Disney Has Plans To Use Darth Bane In Multiple Projects

Another fan-favorite character from the Star Wars Legend may get his time in the spotlight. Insider Daniel Richtman has revealed that Disney has plans to use Darth Bane in multiple projects.

Originally part of the Expanded Universe, Darth Bane was stricken from the Star Wars canon. He eventually made his first in canon appearance in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The sole survivor of the destruction of the Brotherhood of Darkness at the hands of the Jedi Order during the Jedi-Sith War, Bane lived nearly a thousand years before the Clone Wars. He went on to create the Rule of Two and established himself as the founder of the modern Sith.

According to Richtman’s Patreon, Disney hopes to use Darth Bane in several projects. He also mentioned that this could include a solo project. This time period has been mainly unexplored in the Star Wars canon, so this would open up an exciting avenue of storytelling for Lucasfilms.

One response to “Disney Has Plans To Use Darth Bane In Multiple Projects”

  1. One way for Disney to remove the star wars franchise from the woke mess they put it in, is to reboot and start with Darth Bane in the Old Republic, or even the likes of Naga Sadow. They could ran parallel stories of the Sith and Jedi.

Those would be years of sweet story telling for fans. They don’t have to create new story lines that feel fundamentally unconvincing to readers of the books. We struggle to relate with characters like Ridley’s that were created specifically to address today’s culture wars in America, as if our interests care your about political correctness
