‘Reno 911!’ Star Thomas Lennon Joins ‘Supergirl’ As Mister Mxyzptlk

While fans are still in the middle of the chaotic Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event, the Arrowverse is showing no signs of slowing down. As first reported by Deadline, Thomas Lennon will appear in the 6th season of Supergirl as iconic DC bad guy Mister Mxyzptlk.
Lennon, best known for more comedic roles, joins the series in a recurring role. Previously, Lennon has appeared on TV in Reno 911!, Lethal Weapon, and New Girl. Additionally, the actor made waves on the big screen in films like Baywatch, I Love You, Man, and 17 Again.
Debuting within the pages of DC Comics in 1944, Mister Mxyzptlk is an imp from the fifth dimension. With the power of reality manipulation and teleportation, the character has been a thorn in the side of Superman for decades. In 2009, the character ranked 76th on IGN‘s Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time list. Additionally, the character has previously appeared during the second season Supergirl portrayed by Peter Gadiot (Queen of the South).
