The CW has finally revealed who will play the Anti-Monitor in Crisis on Infinite Earths and its a familiar face. At San Diego Comic-Con it was revealed that LaMonica Garrett will play the Anti-Monitor.

Garrett is no stranger to the CW given he is already playing the Anti-Monitor’s brother the Monitor. In new concept art revealed during the CW’s panel at SDCC, it was revealed Garrett will be pulling double duty in the crossover.

The Anti-Monitor is a powerful cosmic being with who controls the Antimatter universe. In the original Crisis on Infinite Earths event, the Anti-Monitor set his sights on the multiverse going toe to toe with his brother the Monitor. Garrett’s casting was revealed via some new concept art of the Anti-Monitor who looks very similar to his brother.

While not an exact match to his comic look the CW has done an excellent job of adapting the Anti-Monitor for the small screen. Given the Anti-Monitor’s powerset, he will be very special effects-heavy so it will be interesting to see how well the crossover can handle this.
