Jodie Turner-Smith Joins Cast Of ‘Tron 3’

Soon after it was announced Greta Lee had joined the cast of Tron: Ares, another star has been confirmed. According to Variety, Jodie Turner-Smith has been tapped to appear in the film.
Turner-Smith is the latest addition to the cast, which previously added Jared Leto, Evan Peters, and Lee. The star’s role is currently being kept under wraps.

While the 1982 Tron and its legacy sequel focused on the world of computers and programs, Ares will explore a sentient program that crosses over into the human world. Leto is set to star as the program in the film.
Turner-Smith had her breakout role in Queen & Slim and has since appeared in After Yang, White Noise, and more. In addition to Tron: Ares, she is set to star in The Acolyte.
Tron: Ares is set to begin filming in August, with Joachim Ronning set to direct. Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne wrote the film, and Justin Springer and Jeffrey Silver will serve as producers alongside Emma Ludbrook and Leto.
