Hannah Waddingham Joins The Cast Of ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2’

Hannah Waddingham is easily one of the most sought-after stars in the world since emerging as one of the many breakout stars of Apple TV’s Ted Lasso. Up next, the multitalented performer is joining the cast of one of the biggest film franchises of all time. As first reported by Deadline, Waddingham is poised to join the cast of Paramount’s Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part 2.
The actress joins an already impressive ensemble cast already featuring Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, and Pom Klementieff. The 8th film in the series is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who is also producing it alongside Tom Cruise.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2 is expected to be Tom Cruise’s final appearance in the series. It is a direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1, which is scheduled for release in the United States on July 14, 2023.
Since portraying the affluent Rebecca Welton in Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham has gone on to appear in films like Hocus Pocus 2 and TV shows like Willow. Up next, Waddingham will reprise her role, for which she has won a bevy of awards, in season three of Ted Lasso. Additionally, the actress will star alongside Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke in David Leitch’s The Fall Guy.
