Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents is a 2020 nonfiction book by the American journalist Isabel Wilkerson. The book describes racism in the United States as an aspect of a caste system. Wilkerson compares aspects of the experience of American people of color to the caste systems of India and Nazi Germany. The book also explores the impact of caste on societies shaped by them, and their people.
Jon Bernthal will reunite with his King Richard co-star Aunjanue Ellis for the upcoming film. Additionally, the Punisher star recently appeared in Hulu’s The Bear and is highly rumored to appear as Frank Castle in the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. Meanwhile, Nick Offerman worked with DuVernay on Netflix’s Colin in Black and White. The Parks & Rec star can next be seen in HBO’s new hit series The Last Of Us. Niecy Nash-Betts recently earned a Critics Choice Award win for her role in Netflix’s Dahmer. The actress remains as a main cast member on ABC’s The Rookie: Feds.
