‘Secret Invasion’: Emilia Clarke Reportedly Playing The Skrull G’iah

The identity of Emilia Clarke’s character in Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion has seemingly been revealed. According to insider Daniel Richtman, the Game of Thrones star is set to portray the Skrull G’iah in the series.
Created by Robbie Thompson and Niko Henrichon in 2019, G’iah first appeared in Meet the Skrulls #1. She was a Skrull agent who, with her partner, raised three daughters on Earth in the guise of a normal American family. She and her family were placed on Earth to gather information for the eventual invasion of the Skrulls.

Secret Invasion hails from Mr. Robot creator Kyle Bradstreet with Thomas Bezucha (Monte Carlo), and Ali Selim (Manhunt) attached to direct. The story follows a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls. Written by Brian Michael Bendis, the series sees The Avengers teaming with The Fantastic Four and the X-Men, among others, to confront and end the threat of the Skrulls. The series stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Don Cheadle, and Clarke. Additionally, Cobie Smulders and Martin Freeman are expected to reprise their MCU roles in the six-episode series as well.
