Marvel Studios Officially Announces ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’

When Marvel Studios announced they would return for San Diego Comic-Con, they promised big surprises. And during their Hall H panel, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige delivered as the studio officially revealed Avengers: Secret Wars.
Secret Wars was a Marvel Comics event by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribić. The storyline revolved around the destruction of the multiverse when multiple universes fell following an incursion of various worlds. The resulting destruction brought together alternate versions of heroes and villains and left behind a new combined universe.

Marvel Studios has been busy setting up their own multiverse with Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And many fans already theorized that would lead to a Secret Wars event film, so it’s exciting that Marvel has finally confirmed it.
The studio did not disappoint with their Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Featuring new details about previously announced projects, including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, as well as exciting new announcements about what’s to come in Phase 4 and beyond.
