HBO has even more plans for the future of Westeros as a new sequel series is in development. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kit Harington is attached to return for a Jon Snow focused sequel series.

During the final season of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow discovered he was really Aegon Targaryen and an heir to the Iron Throne. He was exiled from Westeros and moved on to North of the Wall, so it seems the series will follow his journey there.
Since his run on the original series wrapped up, Harington has appeared in 2021’s Eternals and starred in the National Theater’s production of Henry V. As of now no additional casting has been confirmed nor has a creative team been revealed. It will be interesting to see if any other Game of Thrones characters appear in the series.
