Leaked ‘Kraven The Hunter‘ Set Footage Teases Intense Action Scene

The first look at Sony’s Kraven the Hunter has finally made its way online. Fans recently caught footage of what looks to be an intense action scene featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s titular character.
Debuting in The Amazing Spider-Man #15 in August 1964, Kraven the Hunter is an adversary to Spider-Man. However, the character has also been depicted as an antihero and an ally of Squirrel Girl. Kraven is a renowned big-game hunter who aims to kill Spider-Man to prove himself as the world’s greatest hunter but maintains a code of honor and justice, treating his adversaries as equals. He is also one of the founding members of the supervillain team, the Sinister Six.

As can be seen in the footage above, Taylor-Johnson’s stunt double is holding onto a moving car in the city. The context of the scene was not revealed, but nonetheless, it will surely be an intense scene in the film.
The film features Christopher Abbott and Ariana DeBose as recent additions to the cast. They will both star alongside Taylor-Johnson and the recently cast Fred Hechinger in the film’s cast. Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk are writing the screenplay with Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach executive producing. Moreover, the studio has recruited Triple Frontier helmer J. C. Chandor to direct the Spider-Man spinoff film. Sony will release the feature theatrically on January 13, 2023.
