‘The Losers’ TV Series Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan In Development

It seems that an early 2010s action film is getting an unexpected sequel. According to insider Daniel Richtman, The Losers is getting a television series on Amazon Prime starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Released in 2010, The Losers was based on the Vertigo comic of the same name, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, and Idris Elba. The film followed an elite black-ops unit of United States Special Forces operatives who were forced to fake their deaths. The film was released to mixed reactions but has since gained a cult following.

Richtman revealed on his Patreon that the series will serve as a sequel to the original film. He did not mention if any other stars will reprise their roles in the series other than Morgan. Additionally, beyond Morgan’s involvement in the series nothing else has been announced at this time.
