‘Black Adam’ Reportedly Casting Isis’ Brother Osiris

Yet another character from Black Adam’s corner of the DC Universe may be joining the upcoming blockbuster. According to Daniel Richtman, they are casting Isis brother Amon Tomaz aka Osiris.
Debuting in Teen Titans #38, Osiris was created by Geoff Johns, Greg Rucka, Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, and Keith Griffen. The brother of Isis, Amon, was beaten and tortured by members of the cult intergang. After refusing to join them, he was eventually rescued by Isis and Black Adam. To save his life, the latter bestows his powers upon him so that when he says his name, he is granted the same powers as the Shazam family. His powers are derived from the ancient Egyptian gods, including the stamina of Shu, the swiftness of Heru, the strength of Amon, the wisdom of Zehuti, the power of Aten, and the courage of Mehen.

Additionally, Richtman revealed that the villain of Black Adam is the dictator of Kahndaq, and he will be looking for Isis, who stole a powerful artifact from him. This would make sense given previous reports that claimed the film’s villain would be searching for the crown of Sabbac.
Over the last few years, speculation on what the actual film will depict has made the rounds. Among them, the introduction of Cyclone and Doctor Fate stands out as particularly exciting. Additionally, Noah Centineo joined the cast as Atom Smasher, and the aforementioned Aldis Hodge will portray the legendary hero Hawkman. Moreover, Black Adam will be produced by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions alongside Warner Bros and New Line Cinema.
