Hayley Atwell’s Role In ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ Revealed

Since it was announced that Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell had joined the cast of Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible 7, fans have been curious about what her role would be. Luckily, insider Daniel Richtman has revealed who the fan-favorite actor will portray.
According to Richtman’s Patreon, McQuarrie is looking to cast a character named Rollin Hand. The character will be someone 20 years older than the film’s star Tom Cruise. Hand is described as “An international type. Former IMF agent. A legendary ex-agent. Needs to be able to handle physicality.” Currently, it’s unknown who will portray the character, but one can assume the studio will want an A-lister to star alongside Cruise.
In addition, Mission: Impossible 7 will feature Hand’s protege, Paris. He is described as “25 years old. Leading man. Any ethnicity. A criminal with unique abilities.” Similar to Hand, it has not yet been announced who will portray the character.
Finally, Atwell’s character will also be a protege to Hand, Lambert. She is a contemporary to Paris and is written as tough and physical.

It was recently revealed that Ready or Not star Henry Czerny. The actor is no stranger to the Mission: Impossible franchise as he appeared as IMF director Eugene Kittridge in the first film. Czerny joins an already stacked cast comprised of X-Men‘s Nicholas Hoult, Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham and Guardians of the Galaxy star Pom Klementieff.
